11 Days Left

Happy Spring (or Fall of you're "Down Under") everypony!

I'm writing this as a reminder that there are only 11 days left for Submission to our Art Contest, as well as pledges to our Kickstarter Fundraiser.

We've only received a small handful of submissions for the art contest, and we'd really like to see more. Designs can be something rather simple if you're artistically challenged, or you can try your hand at an original design inspired by listening to our show (such as suggestions mentioned on the air, or something based on a funny bit). The submission deadline is March 31 at 11:59pm EDT, and you can check the rules for more information.

Our March Kickstarter Goal is $300, and right now we're at $76 (25%). Remember you can pledge as little as $1, and you'll receive scaling rewards based on how much you decide to pledge. Although I can't modify what's stated on the KS page, I'm changing the "MetaJoker bonus" to pledges $5 and up (down from $10 and up) so if you pledge at least $5 you'll receive a FREE copy of MetaJoker's next album. We'll also be doing some of the higher rewards (song parodies/covers, dramatic readings, etc) if we make our goal of $300 regardless if no one pledges the designated amounts.
It should also be noted that your donation will only go through if we reach our goal in time. If we fail to make our goal by the deadline NO PLEDGES WILL BE TRANSACTED, that way your pledges are kept safe. Even if you can't pledge I highly encourage you to share this link to your friends. Art Contest Post (Rules & Stuff)

As promised, here's more information concerning our March Art Contest.

Pieces submitted must either be a logo/website banner design, or visual art piece (drawing, painting, comic, etc) inspired by our show. There are a few guidelines that the submissions must meet to be eligible:

-NO GORE! This does NOT rule our (grim)dark pieces (especially when concerning Smithman), but we encourage more lighthearted and silly designs that can be openly displayed to the general public.

-NO PORNOGRAPHY! Again, we want something that can be displayed publicly and not have to be censored. This does NOT rule out shipping (mild Rule 34) or gender bending (Rule 63) designs, and they are almost encouraged as long as they remain "PG-13".

-Keep it Tasteful. We try to provide entertainment that is enjoyable for most without being vulgar or obscene, and I strongly encourage the same be true for your submissions.

Concerning logos/banners, below are examples of what other Podcasts (or similar media) have for their designs. These are meant to be used as reference to get a basic idea of something we're looking for if you decide to submit a logo design. All images are owned by their respective podcast.

Whether you submit a logo design or other art piece, we're looking for something that incorporates our OC's. Below are references to the cast's OC's, including cutie marks.

-Each participant is limited to 5 submissions, with only one qualifying for a Blindbag or other prize.(You can't win Grand Prize & Runner up/if you submit 5, you only get 1 Blindbag)

We reserve the right to use any submission as we see fit. This may include public display online and merchandising.
